Living in Choice

First, let us agree that you fought to be in the experience of this life (see link below). You fought to have the life that you have. You are currently fighting to live the life you've created for yourself, and rightfully so. Yes? Sure, you are, I mean why not? After all, you are here to experience what life has to offer. That's why you came. It all matters. It's all valuable. It's all yours.
There are always new challenges, new decisions to make, choices, options, actions to take. This is how you "earn" your life. You don't request a "change of circumstances" these circumstances are not you, but they are ... yours to experience, yours to own.
The circumstances, the significant life events are what keeps life in motion. Every day is different. Inherent in every situation, circumstance, or significant life event are lessons to be learned, opportunities to grow, to heal, to evolve, ways to "earn" the life you've been given. And
trust me when I say that your life is a gift, an opportunity to expand consciousness, to be a reflection of what's possible.
It is now your turn to be in the experience of this existence, just like your parents, grandparents and the grandparents before them. It is now your turn. Your turn to be in the unfolding. It's your turn to show them that you've got this. That if they could hold on, if they could persevere, if they could make something out of nothing, if they could endure, you can too ... plus some. You know that it is your turn to level-up; you know that it is your turn to take the best of what they've given you (and believe me, they've given you a lot) and meet this life as she comes. Meet her with grace and gratitude. Meet this life with openness and gentle curiosity, because they have paved the way and passed you the torch and the ability to do whatever it takes.
I can't emphasize enough, that there will always be lots of moving pieces, lots of challenges, but nothing ... not a thing that you can't handle. There will only be that which is to expand your Becoming. You see, in this life, we plow our own fields. We plant our own seeds. We fertilize the seeds we have planted, and we then ... reap what we have sown.
Let me put this another way, every day we make choices, our choices are the seeds that we plant. Our lives are the fields; that we plant the seeds in. Our seeds grow because we fertilize them; we fertilize them by putting words to them, we give them our attention, our time, our energy, our emotions, our thoughts. We take the actions necessary to cultivate our seeds. And then, as a result of all of our effort we get the benefits of the harvest. The fruits of our labor.
Now, let's say that we take a look at the field, and we realize that we have nurtured unhealthy, discolored, familiar fruit that we have lost the taste for. And, as we look closer at our lives, we discover that we have left that which our soul needs most ... unattended. We notice that we have allowed and even given permission for the weeds and the thistles (the ways of the world) to rise up and choke out the power of who we are as unique, beautiful, soulful expressions of our ancestors. It is then, with that awakened consciousness ... that we choose to create something different.
We choose to change the trajectory of our lives, plant and nurture new choices. Choices that enhance the relationship that we have with ourselves and with the world. With that awakened consciousness, we own and honor the power of our word and our ability to choose, nurture and create the experiences that we want to have in this life. We know that we have the power to manifest any experience we wish to have.
Finally, as we close the door on 2025, we get to let go of a lot of stuff that is not useful to who we've Become. We are in our own unfolding. Our ancestors secretly walk beside us. We get to choose.
Be well. Be kind. Be good to yourself.
Thanks for listening.
